How to Read Your Bible – With Companions

"Two are better than one...for if they fall, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls and does not have another to lift him up!"

- Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

One of the best ways to read your Bible is with companions. Companions not only keep us accountable but they also encourage us when we feel down or fall behind in our reading.

Having companions also gives us the opportunity to share our enjoyment with others. With today's technology there are a number of ways you can do this. One way is to share your daily enjoyment using group texts. You can also use programs like Skype, Google Hangouts or FaceTime to read the Bible with others.

The principle in both the Old and New Testaments is that God's people should be grouped together. While it's important to build up an individual habit of reading the Bible you'll notice that it's easier to read your Bible when there is a corporate atmosphere of reading the Bible.

Thank You, Lord Jesus, for companions. May we be joined in Spirit to at least one or two companions for vital eating & drinking of Christ. Amen. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for being Overcoming Companion. Amen.
